Seattle Preschool Program Plus (SPP+)
SPP+ at Magnolia
Magnolia Elementary is home to two Seattle Preschool Program Plus (SPP Plus) classrooms.
Seattle Preschool Program Plus (SPP+) offers a high-quality preschool program that welcomes 3 to 5-year-old students. Students in this program participate in a full-time, research-based curriculum where we honor, anticipate, plan for, and respond with care to the needs of all bodies and minds. Personalized instruction is incorporated into the early childhood learning environment, materials, and curriculum to support the individual needs of every student.
The HighScope Curriculum is uniquely designed to provide a rich academic foundation while promoting independence, decision making, cooperation, creativity, and problem solving in young children. The HighScope Curriculum includes learning objectives, effective adult interaction strategies, and assessment measures that help programs ensure a high-quality experience for all learners.
